Founder’s Letter

When I started working summer jobs, my dad shared a basic truth about work.  He said “employers hire you for the value you bring to them and you should always give them more than you receive”.  This principle became the guiding force throughout my career.

From Programmer and Systems Analyst to Application Architect, Manager, Part-Owner and eventually Founder, I have always strived to deliver more value than I received.  That mindset led me to establish Donnell Systems, Inc. with a focus on optimizing digital information in a networked environment.

The name OCIE – Online Computer Information Exchange – was chosen early on and continues to define our mission:  unlocking the power of information.  Online Computer represents the network-centric approach that includes the Internet; Information spans every type of system output, whether scanned, audio, photo or video; Exchange reflects the transformation of data into new forms that improve decision-making, compliance and process efficiency.

Our slogan “Making Information Work for You”, is not just a promise – it is the foundation of the OCIE platform.  We designed it to provide secure archiving, powerful retrieval tools, robust audit capabilities, and analytical insights that empower businesses to make the most of their information.

With the tools we’ve created, the service levels we deliver, and a culture of continual improvement, I am confident OCIE will continue providing extraordinary value to every customer for decades to come.
